Types of presentation available

  1. Oral Presentation
    Present your work as part of the main Congress programme. The top scoring abstracts are selected by the scientific committee for oral presentation.

  2. E-Poster Presentation
    Please click here to submit your ePoster/s : http://rcog2018.epostersubmission.com
    If you have any questions related to ePoster/s, please contact the provider at support@scigentech.com
    E-Posters are presented in the following ways:
    • On large rolling screens in the exhibition hall
    • On a dedicated E-Poster website, available to anyone, even those not at Congress
    • On-demand laptops, where you can browse E-Posters by author or category
    • Using on-demand screens, where you can bring you poster on a large screen to show colleagues – also great for pictures!
       
  3. Video Presentation
    We accept videos as either Oral Presentations or E-Posters. Great for demonstrating techniques.

Awards

Sir William Gilliat Awards

Through the generosity of The Sir William Gilliatt Memorial Fund, we are delighted to announce that the RCOG Sir William Gilliatt Awards, first introduced at the World Congress 2013 will again be presented at the RCOG World Congress 2018. The object of the Fund is to foster the aims of the College and in particular to encourage research in all aspects of obstetric and gynaecological medicine

Successful authors presenting at the Congress are eligible for the following awards:

  • Best overall oral presentation
  • Best oral presentation in each session
  • Best poster
  • Best video

Award winners will be announced at the Congress closing ceremony.

Costs

There is no charge for submitting an abstract. All successful authors will need to register to attend the Congress in order to present.

E-Posters presenters are required to pay a fee of SGD60 nett (inclusive of GST but excluding bank admin charges for both payment methods: credit card at 5% per transaction & wired transfer at SGD50 per transaction) per e-poster submission.  The fees collected will be used to cover the cost of the e-poster service. It does mean you will not have to pay to print or transport your poster though. Full instructions will be given upon acceptance.
