Biography

Prof. Dr. Xiang Peng received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from the Tianjin University in 1981, 1984, and 1989, respectively, all in Optical Engineering. Since 1984, Xiang Peng was with Tianjin University as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor (1992), and Full Professor (1998-2002). He joined the Shenzhen University in 2003 as a professor till retirement at the end of 2020. Since 2021 Dr. Peng has jointed Shenzhen Anhua Optoelectronics Co. Ltd. (AnhuaOE) where he is leading a 3D vision Lab to develop a series of products of 3D scanners as well as other intelligent 3D sensors.
