Abstract Content (abstracts should be written in Size 11 font, Arial font style) Background According to the NHS, although the cancer screening rate has increased to nearly 40%, still has lower screening coverage compared to 70% in the UK and 60% in Korea (2017), and the lack of screening awareness among the population are factors that affect their willingness to receive cancer screening services and also indicate a lack of relevant health literacy. Methods WHO defines health literacy as the health knowledge possessed by an individual when undertaking health promotion-related actions and the ability to translate this knowledge into action. It contains three main points: desire, knowledge, and ability. 1. Through the Hospital Facebook, we target our fan base and collect questions and common myths from the public first.2. Oct.-Dec.2019, using health-related teaching materials, a 15-minute video on a customized topic will be produced with the medical professionals for two topics :(1) Should I have a mammogram? (2) Betel nut prevention and oral mucosal examination. To precisely increase people's health literacy in cancer screening, and to achieve two-way communication and win-win results.3. In addition to attracting attention with this, it is more important to build connections and stimulate the desire to become "healthier" by connecting to the latter two "knowledge" and "ability" to put this message into action. Outcome 1.FB analytics: Currently are 33,000 fans, for (1) Should I have a mammogram? (2) Betel nut prevention and oral mucosal examination, the two videos are as follows: Impressions 12350, 15496; Reach 10823, 13990; Engagement 1083, 1106; Talking about this 638, 943. This brings out the Media Exposure at 1.14 and 1.10. 2. Comparison of outpatient screening rates: Oral mucosal screening increased from 19.25% to 22.47%; Breast cancer screening increased from 36.26% to 38.46% in the same period. 3. Comparison of the same period: the rate of total chewing abstinence increased from 58.33% to 65.00%; the follow-up rates for abnormal cases of breast cancer screening increased from 79.02% to 83.16%. Conclusion The effective use of multiple media to enhance health literacy and health promotion will allow valuable medical resources to be used effectively and reduce the waste of social and medical resources. |
